Shaw Festival
Bringing great theatre to life in the heart of Niagara Wine Country

One of the world's finest theatre companies, the Shaw Festival is internationally celebrated for its vivid and exhilarating productions of plays by Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries (1856-1950), and plays about the period of Shaw's lifetime.

This season offers a diverse mix of plays — some familiar but with a new twist, some unknown and waiting to be discovered. At the Festival Theatre, Leonard Bernstein's delightful musical, Wonderful Town — who hasn't wanted to seek fame and fortune in New York? — opens the season, followed by J.B. Priestley's compelling mystery, An Inspector Calls, and Bernard Shaw's enduring story of the ultimate test of a mother-daughter relationship, Mrs Warren's Profession. In the Court House Theatre, experience the celebrated contemporary musical A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. In the jewel-box setting of the Royal George Theatre is Lillian Hellman's gleefully gothic drama, The Little Foxes, and British playwright Terence Rattigan's homage to a lost generation, After the Dance. And that is only a few of the choices!

There's more of course … exciting day and overnight theatre getaways, insightful backstage tours, creative workshops, and whatever you choose, you can expect a memorable theatre experience. Come to the Shaw for great theatre and stay for all that Niagara has to offer.

Performances run Tuesday to Sunday, April 1 to November 2. For tickets, call 1-800-511-7429 or visit www.shawfest.com.
